Chris Stewart, the DG Community Cricket Coach, has been delivering four weeks of weekly cricket sessions during May at Duncow, Wallace Hall and Eaglesfield Primary Schools. He had also been providing four weeks of after school cricket at Hoddom Primary.

The Dumfries and Galloway Community Coach, Chris Stewart, conducted two Easter holiday Cricket Camps over past week in Lochmaben, at the Lochmaben Centre, and in Langholm, at the Eskdale Centre. These were run in conjunction with the Annandale and Eskdale Sports Academy programme.

The UKCC Level 1 Cricket Coaches Course, specifically targeted for the Dumfries and Galloway region, was successfully delivered through Cricket Scotland over two weekends in March at the David Keswick Centre in Dumfries. That had attendees from around the region and from local clubs with eighteen students of varying ages completing the course.

As part of the curriculum CSLA (Community Sports Leadership Award), Chris Stewart, the D&G Community Cricket Coach will be delivering an ICC Introduction to Cricket Course to students at Castle Douglas High School starting this month consisting of 6 weeks of 1.5 hour sessions.
