A new indoor six-a-side competition is being launched for schools in the west of Scotland – entries by October 19. In the second round of the West section of the Scottish Schools Cup Langholm Academy went down to their visitors from Lomond School. Lomond batted first and finished on 139-3 at the end of the 20 overs. Langholm were not too far away but reached 112-5 in reply to fall short.

This Thursday, the 13th May, Langholm Academy play Lomond House from Helensborough in the second round of the Scottish Schools Cup on the Castleholm. The game is scheduled to start at 1pm.
