The Annan Community Cricket Club play evening midweek twenty over cricket in the Dumfries and District Midweek League and some local forty over friendly matches on Sundays.
The club aims to be a vehicle for those keen on cricket to have a relaxed, although sometimes competitive game and to encourage local youngsters to get involved and playing the game.
The team play their home games at Annan Academy on the artificial wicket there. The location of the ground can be found here at Annan Academy, St. Johns Rd, Annan, DG12 6AP.
The club are maintaining the long tradition of cricket being played in the town with Annan Cricket Club matches being reported in the local press from 1865 onwards against the likes of Lockerbie, Lochmaben and Kirkpatrick Fleming.
